A demolition chisel is a tool used for demolition and renovation work, typically made of a heavy-duty metal like steel, with a pointed tip and a flat striking surface, used for breaking apart concrete, masonry, and other materials. It is often powered by a hammer drill or air hammer to provide more force and speed to the job.
Like wide chisels/demolition spade, flat chisels are also used for additional cutting action. They work well to split rock slabs and to create pits in rocky subsoil.
